High Energy Electron Proton Scattering in View of Born Approximation

چکیده
The proton form factor as well the electron proton differential cross section are calculated. The first Born approximation is used to calculate the transition matrix element for the quark system forming the proton target as scattered by the electron. Results are compared with the experiment SLAC-E-136 for elastic electron-proton scattering made in the range of momentum transfer from Q 2 = 2.9 to 31.3 (GeV /c) 2 .
